Access to books and journals

The library is beginning to introduce some Ebooks which are full text and can be accessed via the Electronic Resources page using your Athens user name and password ( same as your MDX computer network log in) but please don't expect too much yet as they are just starting but should get better as the three years go on.

To find out about the contents of books use Google scholar. In some cases this shows the the contents pages and short extracts from books on screen as does Amazon.

As you are all  officially enrolled as Distance Learners there may be options to request books to be posted to you by our Distance learning Support Unit.
